Thinking of you...
When my world has stopped its turning,
and my strangled heart turns blue;
I close my eyes to settle down,
and turn my thoughts to you.
Last night I thought that I'd turned numb,
But then I had a dream.
(It made me want to wake up
to talk to you!, I mean).
In my dream we stood there
In a glasshouse in the sky,
and gazed out for a while;
To watch the birds go by.
They say, "when in a glasshouse,
you shouldn't speak too loud."
We screamed until our ears bled!--
and we plunged into the clouds.
It's such a happy feeling, knowing
that with a friend so true:
My days will always turn out better
When I'm thinking of you.
